Zeta's 2nd Birthday


Hundreds of guests descended on Zeta Bar to wish the much-loved cocktail sanctuary a very happy 2nd birthday. The event had a 'Caribbean Tiki Luxe' theme, a throwback to the glamorous Rat Pack days of Pina Coladas and kitschy cocktail umbrellas. Bars such as Trader Vic's in LA and Mahiki in London are the flavour of the moment for celebrities loving their Mai Tai's served in coconuts with swizzle sticks - so to kickstart this trend in Australia Zeta Bar was decked out in true Island style with sugar cane, Kentia palms, wooden crates of rum and a rickety bamboo bar on the terrace. There was even a huge block of ice for those who like theirs freshly chipped.
